Enable traces
Traces are logs of the process executed by the system, that are stored in text files. They help to find problems in the functioning of the application listing what the system did at the time was a mistake or unexpected action.
To activate the traces > menu Tools > item Trace > Enter the necessary data > Apply
Select the desired behavior, having in mind that:
Listener: Responsible for downloading the NDD Print Host settings that will be applied to the NDD Print Agent.
Sender: Responsible for the monitoring of the print queue and creation of both NPLs and NSLs.
Guardian: Responsible for applying, in the stations, the advanced settings configured in the NDD Print Host.
LiveUpdate: Responsible for the download of the updates.
HttpServer: Responsible for the communication between print server and workstations.
UICaller: Responsible for the processing of the notifications displayed to the users.
Watcher: Responsible for printing monitoring.
ATTENTION
After activating the trace Watcher, you must manually restart the "NDD Print Agent Watcher" service.
Types of Trace:
Off: Disabled;
Fatal: Lists the errors that led to an interruption in the operation of the solution;
Error: Lists errors that occurred at runtime and that generated unexpected conditions;
Warn: Lists situations that occurred at runtime, which are undesirable or unexpected, but not necessarily "wrong";
Info: Detailed list of the steps performed by the solution, at runtime;
Debug: Lists, in detail, the steps taken by the solution, at runtime. technical nature information.
