Access native applications (HOME)
The HOME option is used by the authenticated user to access the native applications of the , thus being able to make copies and send emails securely. To use this function, the authenticated user must point out the purpose (if requested) before performing copy and/or email work.
Copy
Here the copy jobs will be counted and decounted from the quota (page, value, and color) of the authenticated user. After you authenticate to the Printer and select the copy function, select the purpose (if configured) for which the quota discount will be made.
When the authenticated user has a quota of zero or less, or the number of jobs exceeds the existing quota, the user is unable to access the copy function.
ATTENTION
Due to software/hardware limitations, the validation of the quotas that the user has is done after the completion of the copy job by a whole, that is, if the user performs a job in which the value exceeds its quota limit, the work will be performed and the user's balance will be with the negative value. Subsequent jobs will not be allowed until user quotas are regularized.
To send email, click the HOME icon and after pointing out the desired purpose (if configured) select the email option. For the sender address there are two behaviors to note, depending on the settings made on the NDD Print Host/Portal 360 server:
Default sender configured in NDD Print Host: The authenticated user will use only the email address configured by the administrator;
Sender registered in Portal 360: The authenticated user uses his own e-mail registered in NDD Print Portal 360 previously integrated with the domain.
IMPORTANT
In sure that the authenticated user can use their email address registered in NDD Print Portal 360, the NDD Print Host default sender option must not be configured.
