Configure Collector via file upload

Create file

Create a text file (NDDPrintClientCollectorKyocera.ini) and save to a USB stick (FAT32 format).

This file should contain the information according to the desired scenario.

Information that can be used:

  • address= enter the datacenter address;

NOTE

Global Data Center: "wsembedded.nddprint.com";

Data Center Europe: "wsembedded-eu.nddprint.com";

Data Center United States: "wsembedded-us.nddprint.com".

  • enterpriseKey=  enter the enterprise identification key;

IMPORTANT

If you do not have contact the commercial department of NDD.

  • community= corresponds to the SNMP community configured on the , by default it is used "public";

  • timeUpdate= corresponds to the interval (in hours) that the accounting files and counters and supplies will be sent;

  • domain= domain for which jobs will be assigned where the domain is not identified by the equipment;

IMPORTANT

If this field is blank the default domain is set to NDD Print.

  • print_accounting= enable accounting for print jobs (true or false);

  • copy_accounting= enable accounting for copy jobs (true or false);

  • scan_accounting= enable accounting for scan jobs (true or false);

  • fax_accounting= enable accounting for fax jobs (true or false);

  • address_log= enter the server address to which the logs will be sent for debugging purposes.

Examples of structure for setting up scenarios:

Scenario 1 - Accounting and collection of counters and supplies (sending to the Data Center)

Scenario 2 - Accounting only (send to NDD Print Host)

Scenario 3 - Collection of counters and supplies only (sending to the Data Center)

Upload file

  1. Connect the USB stick to the equipment;

  2. Authenticate as an administrator on the device and click the NDD Print Client Collector icon;

  3. Enter the password to access the NDD Print Client Collector (default:  1111);

  4. Load the setting by clicking Load;

  5. After loading the data, click Test Connection to validate the configuration;

  6. After validating the connection, click Save.
