Configure security

Access the printer web page and perform the following steps:

1. Go to Select option > Settings > Security;

2. On Local Accounts, click Add user > Username/Password;

3. On User Information, fill in the fields to configure an authentication form for the printer web page, creating a user in the Administrator group;

4. On Permission groups, check the Administrator option;

5. After making changes, click Save;

6. On Local Accounts, click Manage Groups/Permissions;

7. On Manage Groups/Permissions click Administrator group and configure the permissions to access all the printer's native functions;

8. After making changes, click Save;

9. On Public, click Manage Permissions;

10. On Manage Permissions, enable only the Use Profiles, B/W Print and Color Print options;

11. After making changes, click Save;

12. Restart the printer before installing NDD Print Client Lexmark solutions.
