Installation via DDU (Device Deployment Utility)

Visit the Lexmark Support website to download the tool

Create the deployment and add the printer's

1. Click Add new;

2. Create a name and description (if desired) for the deployment and click Edit Device List;

3. Here, equipment can be added in two ways:

   1. Add a device: inform the printer address (IP or Hostname) and click the "+" button;

   2. CSV File: import a file (.csv format) listing the printer's addresses  (IP or Hostname) and click the "+" button .

4. After adding the printer's, they will be listed in the Discovered Devices field, being possible to remove them individually by clicking on the "-" button;

5. Check the Secured Device option if printers are password protected;

6. Click OK.

Import files and install

1. Click Add Firmware or Flash File (*.fls);

2. Click Select Flash File, select the files to be installed (Access, Client and/or Collector) and click Open;

3. Click Save;

4. Select the directory where the deployment will be saved and click Save;

If the Discovered Devices option was previously marked, it will be necessary to inform the printer user and password.

 Remembering that this saved package can be used for other installations, just needing to adjust the addresses (IP or Hostname).

 The created deployment will appear on deployments list, and you can edit it.

5. Click Play to start installing the files;

6. To check the installation progress, click Status.
