Send configuration via DDU (Device Deployment Utility)
To send the configuration of NDD Print modules to printer's via DDU tool, it is necessary to import the configuration file (.ucf)
In environments that have printer's with different Frameworks, consider:
To send the configuration of NDD Print modules, it is not necessary to create different deployments in order to separate printer's by framework;
To send the printer configuration, it is necessary to create different deployments (printer's Les4x / printer's LesF5x or higher).
Create the deployment and add the printer's
Click Add New;
Create a name and description (if desired) for the deployment and click Edit Device List;
Here, equipment can be added in two ways:
Add a device: enter the printer address (IP or Hostname) and click the "+" button;
CSV file: import a file (.csv format) listing the printer's addresses (IP or Hostname) and click on the "+" button.
After adding the printer's, they will be listed in the Discovered devices field, being possible to remove them individually by clicking the "-" button;
Check the option Secured Device if printers are password protected;
Click OK.
Sending configuration
1. Click Save;
2. Select the directory where the deployment will be saved and click Save;
If the Secured devices option was previously checked, you will need to provide the printer username and password
Remembering that this saved package can be used for other installations, just needing to adjust the addresses (IP or Hostname).
The created deployment will be listed in the list of deployments, and you can edit it.
3. Click the Play button to start sending files;
4. To check progress, click Status.
