Add via Broadcast
When adding printers via Broadcast, the system sends a request to the whole network within the configured IP range, and add the printers that answers for this request.
To add a printer via Broadcast > tab Printers > group Search > action Settings > tab Network Search > enable the option Search via Broadcast > Set
Broadcast setting delimits the IP addresses (IP and NetMask) that NDD Print Host should verify to locate and add the printers, thus, enter the data:
Add: Allows you to add the IP range at which the printer search should be performed;
Broadcast address;
NetMask;
Remove;
Restore default.
ATTENTION
When restoring, the configured data will be erased and replaced with the default system configuration.
NOTE
Depending on the infrastructure and configuration of the routers/switches some printers may not be found.
