Limiting Document Display on the Printer

Due to a hardware limitation, excessive accumulation of documents held in the user's print queue can cause malfunctions or errors during equipment use.

To prevent this type of occurrence, the NDD Print Client MF HP solution, installed directly on the printer, acts preventively: when the maximum number of documents that can be displayed is reached, the system will notify the user, preventing the display of new items beyond the supported limit. This approach prevents the user from being surprised by unexpected failures and allows for proactive management of the print queue.

Document display limits by screen size:

• 4.3-inch screens: up to 12 documents

• Other screen sizes: up to 25 documents

These limits were defined based on the processing and memory capacity of the different equipment interfaces, seeking to ensure a more secure and stable experience.
