Referring to models that are not listed, for print accounting, the only thing that is needed is to have NPAP communication enabled. However, as there are not approved models, the correct accounting is not guarantee.

To request the homologation of any equipment, contact the support NDD.

Network Structure

The printers send their accounting data to the station with n-MF Lexmark through UDP packages. As they don't have any delivery guarantee, they have its operation directly affected by networks unstable and cascaded. This way, it's recommended to verify if there aren't any loss or blockage of UPD packages that comes to the server.

The probability of package loss between printers and the station is bigger when in different subnetworks. That's why it's strongly recommended to install the n-MF Lexmark in the same subnetwork as the printers.

The software uses random ports for the receiving of UDP packages from the printers. Please, verify if these ports are not being blocked by the firewall.

UAC Deactivation

For the correct operation of the application, it's required to deactivate the User Account Control (UAC). This feature is found in operating system starting from the Windows Vista.

As a workaround, execute the application in administrative mode by right-clicking on the application icon and selecting Execute as Administrator.
