Quotas

Quotas are methods that propose the control and rational use of printing resources. This control is carried out by the company, which may choose to control and manage the quotas by page, by value or by color. In this way, the company will be able to determine a credit amount of printing or copying quotas to be spent by the users.

Several other control options are available, such as:

  • Informative quotas: In this case, when the user reaches the quota limit number na alert will be displayed informing the maximum consumption, however, the user will be able to choose to carry out the print jobs normally. This type of quota is used to promote awareness of the use of printing resources, as well as to promote a control of the consumption carried out;

  • Blocking quotas: In this case, when the users reach the quota limit, the printing activities will be blocked, not allowing them to carry out their jobs and printing and/or copying;

  • Private or corporate quotas: It allows users to assign their prints to corporate or private purposes, in these cases, the manager may distribute a number of quotas for each of these purposes;

  • Recurring quotas: Allows you to grant quotas to all users periodically. These quotas can be configured to be made available monthly, weekly or daily;

  • Additional quotas: It allows the granting of additional quotas to users or groups of users, when they reach their quota of available quotas.
