About NDD Print
Overview
The controls available in NDD Print 360 allow effective management of all jobs performed in the print environment. From prints carried out in the print queues, to copying, faxing and scanning jobs carried out directly on the equipment, everything will be controlled in order to reduce waste.
For that, some features can be applied in the environment, such as:
Policies
The NDD Print 360 provides complete and effective control of jobs performed in the organizational print environment, providing a wide variety of print policies, which, when applied, make the printing, copying, faxing and scanning processes safer and more controlled as they allow you to block or alert users to their actions, resulting in significant savings in printing resources.
Policies allow managers to create rules according to the most diverse filters, such as: title, application, total pages, duplex, color, paper size, quality, time, date, file size or cost. This way, when a document is sent for printing, and it fits a policy, an alert is presented to users in order to inform them and present the options for printing. These policies can be allow, block, convert (automatic or suggestive), alert (awareness), or security (insertion of user ID on print).
Quotas
Through control and management, it is possible to assign consumption quotas to users for use in their print jobs, in this way, the manager will be able to limit the amount of documents that can be printed, acting directly in the awareness of users regarding their expenses and impacts on the environment.
Accounting
By monitoring the environment, everything is recorded so that managers are aware of what is printed in their organization, allowing them to quantify and track waste, as well as appropriating printing costs for departments, projects or cost centers. Allows users to track their print history through reports and charts.
Mobility
The NDD Print 360 allows users who use tablets or smartphones to interact with their print jobs, viewing the balance of quotas and releasing their prints from anywhere in the organizational environment.
Sharing
It allows users to share their prints publicly, or to assign them to specific users, in which case the shared prints are available for printing as soon as users log in to the secure release app, either on the printer dashboards and on Touch terminals.
Secure Release
In secure release, prints from the environment are retained, and are only sent to the printers after the user releases them, by logging on to the release terminal. This way, users do not release their print jobs without being physically present at the printers.
Chargeback
It allows users to assign print jobs to projects, processes or accounts. When enabled, when performing a print, copy, fax or scan, the user must select the account to which they want to assign the job. This solution can be used, for example, in law firms, to group the costs of the process, with a view to recovering them later from the customers.
Settings
For greater convenience, the NDD Print 360 settings are centralized in a single interface available in the cloud, so any and all necessary configuration changes can be made from anywhere with internet access, thus providing ease of configuration and savings in administrative expenses.
Reports
In order to have a more effective monitoring of the application of the settings (in the printing environment), the system provides several reports that allow you to view statistics and information about the prints performed, offering the manager the necessary data to better target the controls to be performed in the environment, and users visibility into their quotas and their print, copy and scan jobs.
