Enable aliases synchronization

This setting must be enabled when NDD Print Portal 360 is using the option Assign aliases. In these cases, NDD Print Releaser will synchronize with NDD Print Host in order to locate the users and their aliases. So when authenticating at the release terminals, users can release their documents through a single logon.

When the synchronization is enabled, the user will have access to both the documents sent using his main login as well as to those sent using his aliases.

To enable synchronization, go to Registry Editor (regedit - Run) > open the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\NDDigital\nddPrint\Releaser\ > right-click on  new "String Value"> enter the required data

Please inform the necessary information, once:

Value name: UserAliasesEnabled

Value data: True.

ATTENTION

After performing these changes, please restart the services (services.msc):

• NDDigital DCS Server;

• NDDigital NDD Print Releaser;

• NDDigital NDD Print Releaser Nancy Service;

• NDDigital NDD Print Releaser NetReader;

NOTE

This feature is enabled by default on the NDD Print Releaser installations version 5.12.0 or higher.

For environments that have updated to this version, it is necessary to follow the steps described in this topic to enable it.
