Fail The specified service does not exist as an installed service

NDD Print services have not been installed, and the fail “OpenService FAILED 1060: The specified service does not exist as an installed service” is displayed in the installation log.

Cause

Unknown.

Solution

Remove the registry keys for the Module services you tried to install. To do this, follow these steps:

1. Access the Windows registry (regedit)

2. Go to the service path (HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services)

3. Delete the keys referring to the services of the module you are installing

   

4. Reinstall the desired module.

To access the logs, open the installation folder of the module where the problem occurred
