Installation process

IMPORTANT: If the NDD Print Host module is not installed in the same location where Digital Shift will be installed, enter the IP address of the computer where NDD Print Host is located.

1. Download NDD Print Digital Shift HP, run the file, and start the installation by clicking Next on the welcome screen that appears.

2. Installation Directory: The wizard will suggest a default location for the files. If you agree, click Next.

3. Communication Ports: Define the ports that the service will use for data traffic. Keeping the recommended settings, click Next.

   1. Service: this port will be used by the HTTP protocol to communicate between the NDD Print Digital Shift HP module and the equipment. Default: 4001.

   2. WEB: will be used for communication between the Digital Shift functionality and the administration tool. Default: 4002.

4. Shortcut Preferences: Select where you want to create the access icons (Desktop/Start Menu) and click Next.

5. Start Installation: On the file copy summary screen, validate the information and click Install. After the files have been copied, click Finish.

6. Finishing: Wait for the progress bar to load. Once the process is successfully completed, click Finish.

NOTE: To view all logs of the installation process, keep the View installation log checkbox selected.

Uninstallation process

1. On the Windows server, go to Control Panel > Programmes and Features

2. Select the product NDDigital nddPrint Digital Shift HP and click Uninstall/Change

   A message will appear asking if you really want to remove NDD Print Digital Shift HP

3. Read the message carefully and click OK to complete the uninstallation process.
