Set default in printer name search

This setting allows you to determine whether the printer name search should be performed automatically on the machine, or if this name must be entered manually by the user when a printer is added to NDD Print Host.

To set the default in the printer name search open the NDD Print Host > menu tab > Options > tab Printer

Select the desired behavior:

Use information contained directly in the printer: the name search of the printers will be performed directly in the equipment;

Use information added in NDD Print Host: The name of the printers will be manually added by the users.

ATTENTION

In environments with a Ricoh printer, the UseNameAlternativeOid key must be enabled then the printer name search can be performed.

NOTE

Setting this behavior will not affect already registered printers.
