Microsoft Entra ID domains - Domain creation

Unlike other types of domains, which were integrated in the NDD Print Host module, with Microsoft Entra ID domains, this process is now carried out in NDD Print Portal 360.

The steps required to integrate a Microsoft Entra ID domain into NDD Print Portal 360 are described below.

Integration with Microsoft Entra ID domain is available for the following modules:

  • NDD Print Client Lexmark

  • NDD Print Client Ricoh

To register a Microsoft Entra ID domain, please note the necessary requirements.

Instructions

Microsoft Entra ID Domain Registration

  1. Access the Users View

    In the main menu of the NDD Print Portal 360, navigate to the Users view.

  2. Access the Domains Menu

    In the navigation panel on the left, locate and click on the Domains option.

  3. Create a New Domain

    Click the Create option to start the process of registering a new domain.

  4. Enter the Domain Name

    In the field indicated, enter the name of the domain you want to register.

  5. Enter Integration Details

    Select the Integrate with Microsoft Entra ID check box to enable integration with the Microsoft Entra ID service.

  6. Data configuration

    After selecting the integration option, the following fields will be displayed and must be filled in:

    • Application ID

    • Application domain

    • Directory ID (Tenant)

    • Client secret

    • Synchronisation time

All fields marked with an asterisk (*) are required.

  1. Perform the Connection Test

    After filling in the fields, click on the option to perform the connection test with the Microsoft Entra ID domain.


Mandatory Attribute Mapping

  1. Attribute Mapping

After the connection test is successful, attribute mapping options will be available for configuration. To do this, you will be asked for information about the connection and synchronisation properties with Microsoft Entra ID.

  1. Fill in the Mandatory Attributes

Complete all mandatory fields to ensure that the mapping is performed correctly.

All fields marked with an asterisk (*) are required.


Mapping Optional Attributes

  1. Configuring Additional Attributes

    If you need to search for data in other Azure AD fields, you can configure additional fields by selecting the Configure Additional Attributes option.

  2. Choosing Attributes for Data Search

    After enabling the Configure additional attributes option, new options will be displayed. Choose the attributes you want to use to search for additional information in Microsoft Entra ID

  3. Finish the configuration

    After configuring the additional attributes as needed, finish the mapping process and save the settings
