Microsoft Entra ID domains - Linking or creating a PIN
With the integration of Microsoft Entra ID domains into our solution, in addition to the need to have a PIN registered in the NDD Print Portal 360, it will be necessary to link it to a user registered in the customer's Microsoft Entra ID domain.
If the user already has a PIN registered in the NDD Print Portal 360, simply link the PIN to the user registered in the Microsoft Entra ID domain. Otherwise, you will need to create the PIN in NDD Print Portal 360.
A new additional verification will be requested whenever it is necessary to renew the link between the PIN and the user registered in the configured Microsoft Entra ID domain. The renewal time will depend on the configuration made by the domain administrator.
Instructions
Linking your PIN to your Microsoft Entra ID domain
Scan the QR code
Scan the QR code displayed on the printer screen using your smartphone camera

After scanning the QR code, enter the code displayed on the printer screen on the Microsoft portal

After entering the code, click the Next button to access the account linking area
Select or add an account
If there is an account linked to the Microsoft Entra ID domain configured on your smartphone:
Simply select the desired account to complete the process
If there is no account configured on your smartphone:
Click ‘Use another account’ and enter the email address of the desired account
After following all the steps above, the process of linking the PIN to the Microsoft Entra ID domain will be completed, allowing you to log in.
Important
For Microsoft security reasons, periodic user revalidations are required. During these revalidations, the email with the PIN will not be sent, as it is only sent during the initial process of linking the PIN to the user in the Microsoft Entra ID domain.
PIN creation - Portal 360
There are currently three methods available for authentication in our embedded solutions: User and Password, PIN/Secure PIN, and Physical Identifier. However, when choosing to integrate the NDD Print solution with a Microsoft Entra ID domain, only the PIN/Secure PIN and Physical Identifier options will be available for authentication. It is worth noting that this is due to a Microsoft limitation imposed for security reasons.
The creation of the PIN in the NDD Print 360 portal will not change and can be done in two ways:
