Enter the data as requested by the wizard:
You can hide the wizard's Welcome, Summary and Finish screens by checking that option each of them or access the setting Show/Hide wizard screens when adding Printers and Groups.
Step 1 - Group data
Print group name;
Printing group description: Add a brief information about the group, fox example, where it's printers are located at;
Create generic print queue: By enabling this option, the input queue (print group) becomes compatible with a larger number of manufacturers and printer types. For this, a driver with EMF language is used.
Only one group with the generic print queue can be added.
Step 2
Driver selection: Choose a driver. If it i not in the list, follow theses steps to add it.
Drivers with architecture Version 4 are not supported in the Releaser's Print Groups. For further information about this architecture, access Microsoft.
Step 2 will only be displayed only if "Generic Queue" was not selected.
Step 3 - Information Summary
In this step, you can check the information before saving it. To change any of them, click "Back".
Step 4 - Creating the group and saving the data
Step 5 - Add printers to the print group created
This procedure of adding printers to the group can be done later.
The following step will only be displayed if the option add printer to the group was selected.
Step 6 - Add printers
Printers to release documents: Select the printers that will be part of this group.
List only printers that do not belong to other print groups: Filters the printers that will be listed, displaying only devices that are not associated to other print groups.
List newly added first: This option will sort the registered printers, showing the most recent ones at the top.
