Installation from Backup

Prerequisites for restoration:

• Windows queues must be recreated in advance, with their respective ports, drivers and print processors.

• Restore Windows Port Monitors to restore print groups (requiring reinstallation to be performed in the same path as the original directory).

The restore process will only be available in the the standard installation of NDD Print Releaser.

The '.nrb' file generated in Generate Backup file will be requested.

Select the type "Standard installation", and the option "Restore settings backup from a file" click "Next" ;

You will be asked to enter the backup .nrb file;

Select the backup file, and click "Next";

Following according to the standard installation.

ATTENTION

If there is any inconsistency in the prerequisites, a message will be displayed informing you that the file contains inconsistencies. You can continue anyway, bypassing inconsistent print groups in the restore and restoring the printers without the link to the Windows queue. It is possible to adjust the settings after the restoration.
