Corrections

User name misconfiguring windows in the application after logging in

How did the problem occur When accessing the Toshiba NDD Print Client, after authenticating on the printer, the user noticed that some screens were misaligned, with fields and components overlapping or out of place, compromising usability.

When did the problem occur Whenever the user logged in directly to the printer and then opened the client.

Where did the problem occur? Toshiba NDD Print Client, during the display of user interface screens.

What was done to fix it? We made adjustments to the layout of the affected screens, ensuring that all components are displayed correctly and that navigation occurs without visual glitches.

NDD Print MF Brother – 5.11.1

Fixes

Error when running the console - adjustment to the storage of the LastJob reference

How did the problem occur? When a document title contained invalid characters (e.g. &#x1F), NDD Print MF Brother would search for the CSV file in the shared folder and then pass the file to the specific job's Parser. This process stored the reference of the last job counted in the printer's LastJob line in the Printers XML file.

When this happened, the presence of the invalid character caused the LastJob line to become corrupted, causing an error when opening the MF Admin Console, which displayed an XML error message.

When did the problem occur? The error occurred whenever MF stored a document whose title contained invalid characters in LastJob (last job counted).

Where did the problem occur? In the Brother MF Admin Console.

What was done to fix it? The LastJob line present for each printer in the Printers.xml file located in the root of NDD Print MF Brother was removed. This reference was identified in the code and could be removed without impacting the application's operation.

NDD Print Host – 5.63.4

Fixes

Vulnerabilities with WinSCP.exe

How did the problem occur? A vulnerability was identified in PuTTY (versions 0.68 to 0.80) and in software that uses its code, such as Pageant, FileZilla (< 3.67.0), WinSCP (< 6.3.3), TortoiseGit (< 2.15.0.1) and TortoiseSVN (≤ 1.14.6).

This flaw caused the predictable generation of nonce in the ECDSA NIST P-521 curve, allowing an attacker to recover the private key after capturing approximately 60 signatures.

The attack could occur if the attacker obtained SSH signatures (for example, in Git commits or via agent forwarding) or when operating a malicious SSH server.

With the key compromised, it would be possible to gain unauthorised access to other services and perform supply chain attacks.

When did the problem occur? During file transfers or any SSH/SFTP session using WinSCP.

Where did the problem occur? In NDD Print Host

What was done to fix it? The NuGet package was updated to the fixed version, eliminating the vulnerability.
