We have adjusted the collection of counters, as the monitoring only generated the General counter.

We have adjusted the collection of counters, as monitoring was only generating the General counter.

Contract Manager interface not executed

When running the Contract Manager tool, the interface was not displayed and windows events failed.

To fix this, we removed some unnecessary dependencies for the tool.

NDD Print Agent security update

A TOC-TOE vulnerability was found in NDD Print Agent. It exploited the interval between validation and the use of a DLL (Dynamic Link Library) loaded by the operating system (Windows).

The vulnerability was associated with the MadHook component, used in older versions.
For the vulnerability to be exploited, an attacker would need to already have full control of the corporate network, bypassing security barriers such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems and antivirus solutions.

• Updating the MadHook component to a more secure version.

• Partial rewriting of the NDD Print Agent DLL hook to reinforce security during component loading.

Error on the printer login screen

When trying to load the login screen directly on the printer, a 404 error was displayed, indicating that the authentication URL was not found. This problem prevented proper use of the login functionality on the printer, affecting the user experience.

Cause of the problem

There was a reference in the Client project that generated an exception when trying to load the project. This reference existed only to deal with a specific error and was not essential for general operation.

Solution implemented

The problematic reference was removed, preventing the exception from being triggered.

Improvements

Compatibility of NDD Print Releaser with new version of NDD Print Agent

• We have included the installation of the new NDD Print Agent version when NDD Print Releaser is installed;

• Possibility of updating the old NDD Print Agent to the new version, even with NDD Print Releaser installed;

• Removal of the old version of the NDD Print Agent when it is upgraded to the new version;

• We have made changes so that the NDD Print Releaser interface is compatible with the new version of NDD Print Agent.
