NDD Print Agent Rebranding

We changed the logo and icon of the solution for our new brand following the Rebranding NDD, as well as we changed the product nomenclature to the new NDD Print standard.

NDD Print Agent SpoolMonitor Component Compatibility for Windows 11 and Windows 2022

In order to improve the monitoring of printing processes, we made the latest version of the SpoolMonitor component compatible with the Windows SecureBoot function.

Error processing LDAP sync files by Portal 360

When the information present in AD contained characters outside the ASCII table, the file was incompletely generated, causing NDD Print Portal 360 not to complete the LDAP Sync.

We made the correction so that these characters are identified and converted to ASCII table, generating the file in full.

Improvements

Liveupdate installer being presented as suspicious on Virustotal

When performing the Liveupdate installer analysis on Virustotal, the installer and the service are presented as suspicious files in some antivirus.

We have included the trusted source application certificate in the installer and service.

Improvements

Job is not counted when printer is turned off during printing

When the printer was turned off during a job, this job was not counted by Collector.

We made an adjustment to save the value of the last job accounted for on file so that the printed pages can be collected when the printer is turned on again.

Hide authenticated user password in NDD Print Agent popup for network traffic

In order to maintain system security and protect sensitive user data in information traffic, encryption has been added to communication calls between Agent/Host and also between Agents.

Automatically renew UniqueKey

Improvements were made in renewing the NDD Print Host identification key (UniqueKey), used in Cache Synchronization.

This change will prevent Sync from not ending.

A renewal routine has been implemented so that the key that is not registered, when connecting the NDD Print Host with Portal 360, will be automatically renewed.

Account code being synced blank

When account synchronization was configured to use organizational units (OUs), the account code was synchronized with Portal 360, even if the option was disabled.

Due to the code being mandatory information, when using the OU synchronization method, a correction was made so that the user cannot disable the "Synchronize account codes" option or not fill the attribute when configuring the synchronization.
