NSL files being incorrectly directed to the LOGs folder
How did the problem occur? NSL files were incorrectly sent to the NDD Print Host module when they should not have been.
It was observed that .NSL files generated by NDD Print Client Collector were being stored in the NDD Print Host temporary LOGs folder (C:\Windows\Temp\NDDigital\nddPrint\Host\Logs) instead of being correctly directed to the StatusLogs folder (C:\Windows\Temp\NDDigital\nddPrint\Host\StatusLogs).
When did the problem occur? After data collection and generation of .NSL files.
Where did the problem occur? In files originating from the Lexmark Collector.
What was done to fix it? The code was adjusted to prevent the improper sending of .NSL files to the NDD Print Host module. Now, the files are correctly directed to the StatusLogs folder.

NDD Print Client Access Lexmark – 5.12.2

Any user with access to printer configuration
How did the problem happen? Any user who authenticated to the Lexmark printer through nddPrintAccess was able to access the device settings and make administrative changes without the proper restrictions.
When did the problem ? After authenticating on the device using NDD Print Client Access.
Where did the problem happen? On Lexmark printers integrated with NDD Print Client Access.
What was done to fix it? Group and permission validation in the PamInstance.java file was adjusted, ensuring that only authorised users have access to the administrative settings of Lexmark printers.
NDD Print Portal 360 Server – 5.65.13

Improvement
Expansion of file types supported for report export
What is the objective? To provide new HTML report export formats (XML, CSV, and TXT), offering greater flexibility and compatibility with different systems and data analysis tools.
What has been done? The ability to export reports in XML, CSV, and TXT formats has been implemented, in addition to the existing Word, PDF, and Excel formats.
The exported files retain all the information presented in the original HTML report.
The new export options are available in the same interfaces already used for report export.
Adjustment to the interface so that when selecting Excel, CSV, TXT or XML formats, only all pages are exported (hiding the selection of specific pages).
Renaming of existing extensions to a more concise standard (visible to all customers):
Adobe Acrobat PDF → PDF
Microsoft Word → WORD
Microsoft Excel → EXCEL
What will be affected?
HTML report export functionality.
Names displayed in export options for all customers.
Customers with the new export enabled by database will have access to additional formats (XML, CSV and TXT).
What is the impact on the environment? Enabled customers will have access to new formats, expanding the compatibility of report use. Non-enabled customers will continue to use the exports already available (PDF, Word, and Excel).
The export standard remains PDF, staying with the current standard.

Implementation of authentication in NDD Print Portal 360 Server by SSO (Single Sign-On)
What is the objective? To facilitate and streamline access to Portal 360, allowing users to log in using their corporate Windows credentials, without having to enter their Portal login and password. In addition, integration with SSO improves security, reduces the need for multiple passwords, and ensures greater centralised access control.
What was done? Implemented support for authentication via SSO API, integrated with Portal 360.
Added configuration parameters in web.config and .env to enable SSO and define the API URL.
Adjusted the login flow to allow direct authentication via a dedicated route (/sso) or via the ‘Corporate Login’ button on the home screen.
Added support for Windows authentication in IIS and configured the CORS module for secure communication between the API and Portal.
Created specific keys for token validation, ensuring alignment between the 360 SSO API and the 360 Portal.
What will be affected?
360 Portal login screen: now features the ‘Corporate Login’ option.
Authentication process: users will be able to authenticate directly with their Windows credentials.
Environment configuration: need to install and configure the SSO API in IIS and make adjustments to the Portal configuration files.
What is the impact on the environment? Reduced login time and greater convenience for users with centralised access control via Active Directory. This reduces the risk of authentication errors and forgotten passwords.
NDD Print Digital Shift Epson – 5.0.6

Removal of printers without communication
How did the problem happen? When changing the IP or hostname of a printer already added to NDD Print Digital Shift Epson, an error occurred when trying to remove it.
When did the problem? During the connection test performed by NDD Print Digital Shift Epson when removing the printer.
Where did the problem happen? In NDD Print Digital Shift Epson
What was done to fix it? The connection test with the printer address was removed from the process of removing equipment from the module in question.
NDD Print Agent – 5.24.18

Epson WF-M5299 device entering continuous loading mode
How did the problem happen? When USB monitoring was enabled, the printer panel displayed a continuous loading screen, appearing to be frozen. This occurred because the system did not correctly recognise the end of the command, generating an error. Part of the content was sent to the print queue and treated as if it were a legitimate job.
When did the problem ? During the monitoring process performed by NDD Print Agent.
Where did the problem happen? In the communication between NDD Print Agent and the equipment, specifically during monitoring via the USB port.
What was done to fix it? The start and end delimiters of the EJL commands were adjusted. Previously, PJL markers were used, which were not appropriate for EJL commands.

Error in the email retention function after updating NDD Print Releaser
How did the problem happen? After updating NDD Print Releaser to version 5.29.2, the email retention feature stopped working correctly.
When did the problem ? During the email printing process, the system did not perform retention as expected.
Where did the problem happen? In the NDD Print Releaser module
What was done to fix it? A correction was made to the integration between the NDD Print HP Deploy and Email Release features by isolating the respective functions. This approach ensured the proper functioning of email retention after updating to version 5.29.2.

Email retention function not working and generating an error in Aspose.Total.lic license validation
How did the problem happen? The system was unable to retain the email at the time of printing, displaying an error when attempting to validate the Aspose.Total.lic license.
When did the problem ? Whenever a document was sent by email for retention, the following error message occurred, preventing the email retention from functioning correctly:
Error starting ReleaserEmailReceiver service (onstart): Failed to set license.
Details: Cannot find license ‘Aspose.Total.lic’. in Aspose.Email.License.SetLicense(String icenseName) in NDDigital.nddPrint.Releaser.Service.Service.OnStart(String[] args)
Where did the problem happen? In the NDD Print Releaser module
What was done to fix it? Correction made in the integration between the NDD Print HP Deploy and Email Release features, by isolating the respective functions. This ensures the correct recognition and application of the Aspose.Total.lic license during the process of sending and retaining emails.

Contingency mode not working correctly
How did the problem happen? When entering authentication contingency mode, the login screen was not displayed. Instead, an informational message was displayed:
Server inaccessible. Users who have recently authenticated will be able to continue using the system as normal.
When did the problem ? During the user's authentication attempt in the application in contingency mode.
Where did the problem happen? On the authentication screen.
What was done to fix it? Screen navigation execution was adjusted to occur in the UI Thread, ensuring secure interface operations and the correct functioning of contingency mode.

Second identification request when printing to devices via USB
How did the problem happen? When adding the printer in ‘Browser’ mode, performing authentication via the application, and sending a print job via USB, the printer requested user authentication again.
When did the problem ? When selecting a document stored on the memory device and clicking ‘Print’.
Where did the problem happen? On the printer's native screen.
What was done to fix it? The version of OpenAPI used to communicate with the printer was updated. Previously, version 3.5 was used as standard; now, version 4.0 has been adopted. With this update, the printer does not request re-authentication when printing via USB.

Domain inheritance failure with NDD Print Host
How did the problem happen? When configuring a domain in NDD Print Host and attempting to mark it as default in Form Settings
When did the problem ? When attempting to select a domain
Where did the problem happen? On the Form Settings screen
What was done to fix it? The version of the nugget Embedded.Common was updated, which already had the fix for the problem, where the problem was in the Parses of the list of domains we received from NDD Print Host.

Error when accessing the 'copier' function
How did the problem happen? When authenticating in the NDD application and attempting to access the printer's native functions.
When did the problem ? When clicking on the 'Access copier' option.
Where did the problem happen? In the NDD application opened on the printer, a generic error message was displayed.
What was done to fix it? A correction was made to the code related to Logs/Traces. During the log writing process, a necessary property was null, which caused the application to crash. The implementation was adjusted to ensure proper handling of this property, preventing the error from occurring.
