Error when finishing a print job: instead of receiving the expected success message, the user receives an IIS error message.
How did the problem happen? When finishing a print job, instead of receiving the expected success message, the user received an IIS error message. When finishing the print job, the application did not display the success confirmation and instead returned an error from IIS.
When did the problem ? During the print completion process, specifically at the moment when the system should confirm the completion of the operation.
Where was the problem happen? In the [MF Toshiba] environment, in the integration between the printing application and the IIS server.
What was done to fix it? The environment was analysed and the necessary adjustments were made to IIS and/or the application configuration, ensuring that the success message was displayed correctly and eliminating the failure.
Improvement
Security fix related to the service name, which must contain double quotes to prevent attacks
What is the objective? To strengthen service security by preventing possible vulnerability exploits during initialisation.
What was done? The service configuration was adjusted so that the path/name contains double quotes, in accordance with Windows security best practices.
What will be affected? Only the way the service is registered and initialised. No functionality of NDD Print MF Toshiba has been changed.
What is the impact on the environment? There is no noticeable impact for the end user. The change is exclusively positive, increasing security and reducing the risk of attacks.

Error when registering a printer in the Brother MF module
How did the problem happen? When attempting to add a new printer in NDD Print MF Brother, the system displayed the message ‘Ya existe una impresora registrada con esa dirección’, preventing the addition because there was already a printer registered with the same IP/Hostname address.

System reports that the password is invalid
How did the problem happen? When adding new equipment, the system incorrectly indicated that the printer password was invalid. The failure occurred because the hostname was not resolved correctly, leaving it empty. Thus, all devices received the same blank value in the hostname field, causing the next printer to be interpreted as already registered.
When did the problem happen? During the process of adding printers, specifically after filling in the credentials and attempting to validate the device.
Where was the problem ? In the NDD Print MF Brother printer addition wizard, during hostname resolution and address recording in the logs.
What was done to fix it? A validation was implemented so that if the hostname is not resolved, the system directly uses the IP address in the corresponding field. This way, each printer is now registered uniquely, eliminating the duplication error.

NDD Print Agent not generating NSL file
How did the problem happen? When the monitored equipment did not return a valid value in the request responsible for obtaining the description of one of the supplies. This failure caused the capture process to be aborted.
When did the problem happen? During monitoring performed by NDD Print Agent, the NSL file was not being generated correctly.
Where was the problem? Supply monitoring via NDD Print Agent.
What was done to fix it? New logic was implemented that inserts a generic description for the supply when the expected value is not returned by the equipment, ensuring continuity in the capture process and the correct generation of the NSL file.

Error when processing corporate application jobs
How did the problem occur? When a print job arrived without a title, an error was generated.

What was done to fix it? A standard message ‘Untitled’ was implemented for untitled print jobs, which is automatically translated according to the language configured in NDD Print Agent.

How did the problem happen? When attempting to scan using a shared folder stream by NDD Print Digital Shift Epson, the printer would start scanning but display an error message

What has been done? Removed the requirement to install .NET 5 and .NET 6 dependencies during the installation process.
What will be affected? The installation will no longer require the prior configuration of these versions of .NET.
What is the impact on the environment? The installation process becomes simpler and faster, without the need for additional dependencies.
