Failed to access Ricoh android copier

When clicking on the Access Copier option in the NDD Print Client Ricoh Android, the message “A failure occurred while trying to access the copier. Please try again”.

Cause

This incident occurs when the embedded device is installed without the SPMODE presets made by the “SET” button in Ricoh Remote Operation.

Solution

The only solution we have is a general factory reset of the equipment and then reinstallation following the process described in the manual.

There are different levels of factory reset on the equipment, the most common being the configuration reset which does not erase the board or return to the SPMODE settings, this reset DOES NOT RESOLVE the incident.
