Connect with NDD Print Releaser

The Secure Print feature, when enabled, hold the documents printed by the user, so that the documents will only be printed when the user authenticate and release them in the release terminals.

By performing the configuration to connect with the NDD Print Releaser, all network printers will be enabled to use the Secure Print feature.

To configure the connection with the NDD Print Releaser

  1. Menu Tools

  2. Item Secure Print

  3. Enable Secure Print

  4. Enter the address of the NDD Print Releaser

  • When the Secure Print feature is enabled, the NDD Print Agent will keep the job hold with the status Pause in the queue until it is released in the embedded solution or through the NDD Print Releaser.

  • Whether the NDD Print Releaser is offline, the printings will be blocked by default. However, this behavior can be changed by the system administrator through the configuration ReleaserOffline available in the list if available configurations.
