Configure security model and access control

Configure security module

1. Access the menu Settings > Security > Security Setup;

2. On Advanced Security Setup, access Step 2 > Security Template;

3. On Manage Security Templates, click Add a Security Template;

4. Type a name for the model and select the authentication configuration previously added;

5. Click Save Template.

Configure access controls

1. Return to Advanced Security Setup and click Access Controls;

2. Apply your security model (configured in the Solution and on Security Template);

3. Apply your security template for one or more controls, where one or more features must be chosen that will have the desired access control.

To use the email function, it will be necessary to create a new security model with the authentication and authorization rights. To do this, follow the same steps to create a new security template.

Access control

Configure access control for native printer applications, as well as NDD-approved third-party applications.

1. Access the menu Select Option > Settings > Security;

2. On Additional Login Methods, access Manage Permissions;

3. On Group Name, click All users;

4. On Access controls, check the option below:

   • Function Access:

     • Create profiles

     • Use profiles

You can also set so that NDD Print authentication is requested when accessing native or third-party applications. To do this, check your respective options within the tabs Function Access and Apps.
