Configure NDD Print Client Access

After authenticating with administrative credentials on the printer web page, go to the applications page, find the NDD Print Client Access Lexmark. The path may change depending on the printer and the framework, the most common being:

To configure the module on printers with LesF2x and LesF3x framework

To configure the module on printers with LesF5x or higher framework

NDD Print Client Access Lexmark module configuration

Security modules

1. On the Security modules item, click Add.

  • Module name: enter a name for the module;

  • Authentication: check this option to identify the NDD Print Client Access as an authentication;

  • Authorization: for exclusive use of the native email function with the authentication of NDD Print Client Access.

2. Click Apply to save the configuration.

Server

  • Communication protocol: NDD Print Host communication port, DCS 5656 or HTTP (Nancy) 56562;

  • NDD Print Host server address: enter the server address where the installed NDD Print Host module is located.

Reader

  • Type of reader: select the reader type to be used (approach card or barcode)

  • Enable conversion: check this option to select the reader reading style USB

  • Conversion format: after checking the Enable conversion option, select the conversion format

Contingency

  • Enable: when communication with the server fails, users can make copies or scans as normal. During this period, accounting will occur to the user as "In contingency". Authentication will automatically work again when communication is restored.

Storage

  • Store application data to file: by default, communication between applications takes place over the network. Use this option when there are network-related fault accounting issues. Stored data: login, domain, email, contingency, finality and debit id.

After making the necessary settings, click Apply.

In printers with LesF2x 4 lines framework, the NDD Print Client Access module is not necessary.

 After configuring the module, the printer Security Model and Access Control Configuration must be performed.
