Implementation by the printer

In addition to allowing the installation of our embedded application through a web portal, we also offer the option of installation using a printer that already has NDD HP Printer Deploy installed. This way, you can install the NDD Print 360 embedded application on a printer from another printer.

• If you have not yet created an access password and/or addition profile, please check the first steps

• If the NDD HP Printer Deploy application is not yet installed, please follow these steps to complete the installation.

Instructions

1. Accessing the Home Screen

• Description: To access the home screen, turn on the device and wait for it to start up completely.Score: Make sure the device is connected to the network.

2. Login

• Enter the password previously created in NDD Print MF HP

3. Configuration of Requested Data

• Enter the necessary data:

  • Printer: Enter the IP address or hostname of the device.

  • NDD Print Host: Information will be filled in by the system

  • NDD Print Releaser: Information will be filled in by the system

  • NDD Print MF HP: Information will be filled in by the system

4. Profile Selection

• Choose Profile:

  • Select a profile that contains the work functions you want to install on the Printer. Learn how to create an addition profile in NDD Print MF HP, click Creating an Addition Profile

5. Selecting a print group

• Select the print group:

  • If the previously selected addition profile has the “Secure document release” work function, determine which print group the device will belong to. The print group must be created beforehand in NDD Print Releaser

6. Start of the implementation process

• Data verification and start: A data confirmation screen will be displayed. If any information does not match what was initially planned, the user can return to the previous steps. If all the information is correct, just click Start.

7. End of process

• Summary screen: A summary screen will be displayed containing the work functions that were previously activated by the selected Creation Profile. A message informing that the installation was completed successfully will be displayed, and the user only needs to click Exit to be taken to the printer's home screen.
