Create printer group

User prerequisites:

Master Administrator Permission or

Administrator Permission

Printer groups allow you to organize and define the costs and policies for the printers. In this option you can create groups with different characteristics and assign the desired printers to these groups, allowing you to set different printing costs for each group as well as create different print control policies for the equipment in each group.

To create a printer group > view Printers > menu Groups > action Create

Provide the necessary information, considering:

Name;

Default print and copy cost: It allows determine the cost of print and copy jobs for all printers belonging to the group.

Simplex Mono;

Simplex Color;

Duplex Mono;

Duplex Color.

NOTE

Duplex printing with odd page number will have its last page accounted as simplex.

Multifunctional default cost: It allows determine scan and fax costs sent to all printers belonging to the group.

Scan;

Fax sent.

NOTE

To set up costs for different paper types and color levels, the group must already be registered.
