Set whether users can manage their PIN

User prerequisites:

Master Administrator Permission or

Administrator Permission

Process prerequisites:

None


This setting allows you to determine how PIN codes will be defined.

To perform this setting

  1. Access view Settings

  2. menu Users

  3. locate PIN Code

  4. action Edit

  5. select the desired behavior

  6. click Save

Behaviors available

  • Allow all users to set their PIN code - When you enable this setting, all users can create or change their PIN code.

  • Do not allow all users to set their PIN code - When enabling this setting, only users with the Master Administrator permission can set the PIN.

  • Automatic PIN renewal - When you enable this setting, PIN code expires in set time, generates a new one and sends it to the user.

    • Renewal period - Define how many days the renewal will occur.

    • Cycles that the PIN can be reused - Define every how many cycles the PIN can be reused.

    • Minimum number of digits for the generated PIN - Define the minimum number of digits that the PIN will be generated.

  • Minimum period for renewal is 7 days

  • Cycle can be set to between 1 and 3

  • The minimum quantity can be configured from 3 to 15 digits

  • All users will receive a PIN, but the sending will only be carried out for those who have a registered email

If the Secure PIN is used, it can be changed by users at any time, without being influenced by this configuration.
