Authentication Methods

The available authentication options are those present in the NDD Print Host server configuration menus.

Username and Password

In this authentication type, select the domain (if you have more than one domain registered on the NDD Print Host server) and enter your credentials.

PIN and Secure PIN

When the authentication type is configured in this way, the user must enter the PIN or PIN and Secure PIN, as registered on NDD Print Portal 360.

Physical identifier

Para To use this authentication type, the USB reader must be configured and connected to the equipment. To authenticate, bring your physical identifier close to the USB reader so your credentials are validated in the system.

Physical Identifier Registration

The physical identifiers registration can be enabled to be done by the user at the equipment, and it is necessary to validate the access credentials (using the Second Authentication type) to confirm the data.

Starting with version 5.8.0 of NDD Print Client Access, authentication by physical identifier will also occur when the application is closed, that is, when the native printer menu is being viewed on the interface. For LesF2x models, this feature is not available due to equipment limitations.

Contingency

If enabled in the NDD Print Client Access Lexmark configurations, this authentication type will allow access to native functions when there is no communication with the configured server. In this case, the authenticated user will always be "In contingency".

LesF2x 4-line devices do not support this authentication method.
