Fixes

Incorrect capture of the serial number of EPSON devices monitored via USB

How did the problem happen? By capturing the serial number of EPSON devices connected via USB.

What was done to fix it? We fixed the search in the correct location in the Windows registry.

Serial number being registered incorrectly when a printer is replaced

How did the problem happen? When replacing a USB printer with another, NDD Print Agent understood it as the old equipment.

What was done to fix it? We fixed the way NDD Print Agent handles removed printer caches.

Improvements

Change the device password without affecting other functionalities

What purpose? To allow the administrator to correct incorrect password problems without affecting any other settings.

What was done? We've created the password field in the device properties, now all the administrator has to do is select a device, change the password and apply it.

What will be affected? The way to manage faults caused by incorrect passwords on equipment.

Disabling the copy quantity option in the NDD Print Client HP

What purpose? To prevent users from making more than one copy per printed document. 

What was done? We have created an advanced configuration to disable the function.

What is the impact on the environment? The setting will be applied to all printers registered with NDD Print MF HP.

NDD Print MF and Client Epson 5.3.6

Fixes

Username was not registered when using Digital shift

How did the problem happen? When performing scans via Digital shift, the username was not passed on correctly to be recorded in the accounting.

What was done to fix it? We adjusted Digital shift to receive the user's session correctly, thus registering the user's name in the accounts.

NDD Print MF and Client Brother 5.10.7

Fixes

NDD Print Client Brother displayed an *NFD message when authenticating

How did the problem happen? After authentication, the captions for the access pending documents and scan to me buttons were not displayed correctly.

What was done to fix it? We adjusted the captions to display the button names correctly.

NDD Print Client Collector Ricoh 5.4.0

New features

Monitoring multiple devices

What is the new functionality? NDD Print Collector Ricoh Android now has the functionality to monitor (collect supply counters) multiple devices from a Host device.

What is the benefit of the new feature? Configure just one device with NDD Print Collector and monitor 20 other devices from it.

How does the new feature work? When configuring the Ricoh Android NDD Print Collector via the ECT tool, simply activate the Printer Monitoring functionality and import the CSV file with the device information.

Observations?

• The sending time must be set between 2 and 24 when using the multiple device monitoring feature.

• Compatible manufacturers: Ricoh, HP, Lexmark, Kyocera, Epson e Brother;

Fixes

Accounting were not registered from the USB device

How did the problem happen? NDD Print Collector was not accounting for prints made from the usb device.

What was done to fix it? We adjusted the username registration field.

NDD Print MF and Client Sharp 5.3.6

Fixes

Icons in NDD Print Client Sharp weren't fitting on the screen

How did the problem happen? When accessing the NDD Print Client Sharp, some icons were not aligned correctly.

What was done to fix it? We adjusted the icons for different printer models.

NDD Print Host 5.58.2

Fixes

Services were not removed when using the “-disabledcs” command

How did the problem happen? When installing or updating NDD Print Host with the “-disabledcs” command, the services were not removed.

What was done to fix it? We adjusted the NDD Print Host to ensure that the service was removed after installation or update using the “-disabledcs” command.

Synchronization was performed when changing Proxy settings

How did the problem happen? When making a server change, the sync was performed regardless of what had been configured.

What was done to fix it? We removed the proxy server button from the Data Center configuration screen. Configuration can now be carried out via the Configure proxy server menu.

Digital Shift scanning flow failed

How did the problem happen? Digital Shift's scanning flow failed.

What was done to fix it? We have adjusted some errors that occurred during the scanning process with Digital Shift on board.
