Import printers into NDD Print MF Epson
In this article, you'll learn how to perform a mass import of printers using a CSV file.
Before you start
Make sure you carry out the Basic settings for NDD Print MF Epson.
Make sure Activate Epson Open Platform (EOP) on the printer.
Make sure Block the native functions of the printer.
Make sure Configure authentication on the NDD Print Host if any printers are imported to use the Authentication feature.
Make sure Add a printer in the NDD Print Releaser, in case any printers are imported to use the Releaser functionality (secure document release).
Make sure to configure Quotas in NDD Print Portal 360 if any printers are imported to use the Controlled Copy feature.
Step 1: Preparing the CSV file
Only administrators can save the CSV file.
Access the MassivePrinterImport folder in the NDD Print MF Epson installation folder
Open the CSV file PrintersToImport with Excel, Notepad or other compatible software
Fill in the printer information
Field | Description |
---|---|
Address | Printer IP address or Hostname |

When you save the file, NDD Print MF EPSON will start the import process, so make sure that all the information is completed and correct.
Save and close the file
The import is finished when the file PrintersToImport is completely empty.
